At $29, this Parmi didn’t require a small loan, which in this economy is already a win. Portion size was respectable — no optical illusions here — and the sauce-to-cheese ratio was bang on. I wasn’t scraping the plate wishing for more of either, which deserves praise. The crumb had a satisfying crunch that made a proper noise (always important), and overall it looked the part when it arrived. The chicken itself was slightly on the dry side and maybe not at peak freshness — nothing tragic, just enough for me to squint and say “hmm” — but I am nitpicking. Salad was fine, but it clearly missed the memo about dressing. Dry leaves don’t spark joy. Biggest issue: the salad was served on top of the chips, which is an unforgivable act and possibly a war crime. Soggy chips are innocent victims. Overall: a good Parmi that could be great with juicier chicken, dressed salad, and a restraining order keeping greenery away from hot chips. Would eat again — but with conditions.
Mushy Sauce was low tide. Quite small, very tasty, good salad.
