Hmmm. Where do I start with this thing. To begin with, I paid nearly $30 for some chicken and chips with a side of lettuce and cabbage. Why? Because everyone else was getting one and I felt like a parmi. Now when I pay $30 for any meal, I expect to make little to no complaints. Now when this thing came out, it was looking small and as if it could do with a little more love. It was stacked on top of the chips as if it had been thrown on there by an angry chef. Now, expectations were low when biting in to this deep fried, cheese coated specimen. However, my first bite was rather exciting, wow I thought. The flavours were certainly there. The salad was fresh with assistance of the dressing that was not overpowering, but almost like a life long friend. The chips..whilst they held a slight sog from being smothered by a $30 slab of chicken, they still held crunch with a nice salty flavour. The parmi itself was flavourful, juicy and hit me with an unexpected level of satisfaction. This parmi was by no means worth the $30 I paid, but it became a welcomed meal that satisfied my hunger for the time being. It’s a solid 3.5 that could’ve been boosted by nicer presentation, a chip separation and a cheaper price. If you’ve got $30 spare I would still recommend trying. Kind regards-Rory xx
