Central Hotel - Bar, Bistro, Gaming & Accommodation

“Very interesting day for me today. I never expected it to be a historical moment in the life of the Parm Rater app, but I believe this is the first ever review left for the Central Hotel. I wish I could say I’d uncovered a hidden gem—but sadly, that’s not how this story ends. The charm of the establishment could’ve lifted the rating: the ching of the pokies, the dirt bikes playing above the Tote machine… it all added character. Unfortunately, the parmi didn’t quite live up to it. It was exactly what you’d expect from a budget pub (think Carlyle). The kind of place with carpet floors, the sort where your newly divorced dad takes you and awkwardly asks what you think of your mother’s new fella. But enough about me. The chicken was okay—not processed, which is a win—but dry. The parmi overall was a bit bland. Cheese and tomato were fine, but they definitely skimped on the chips and salad, which left me a little annoyed. Overall, I won’t be back… but it was nice to tick off. P.S the Bundy cab was elite and had fired me up to smack my numbers”
