Fist Sri Lanka Parmi review. Was pleasantly surprised. Will admit it does not look the most appetizing. Especially the cheese sauce which does not look as you would expect. However, I was surprisingly impressed the cheese sauce had a nice sharp flavor which cut through the sweet sauce. The chicken was extra crispy which I very much like. Chips were also super impressive, I am a big fan of the real potato cut into chips. Salad was the weakest element as seen in the pic, just looks like the dregs of a coles coleslaw bag. Overall very impressive

Big review and a big statement from me today. I think the whaler does the best parmi in Hobart.

Hobart town hotel. Only opened a week so I was keen to be one of the first reviewers. Chicken was thick which I respect, the tomato sauce and cheese was what I expected. Maybe a tad on the bland side for the sauce. I did feel the ham was a bit cheap and clearly not ziggys ham (the gold standard). All in all was good, probably the crunchiest chips I have ever eaten which was nice. I did feel the salad was a bit underwhelming. This new trend of just dressed leaves, I’m not sold on, feels like wokenesess personally. It did not affect my rating but I will say, the mushroom sauce was terrible. Tasted like broth, ratio completely messed up. All in all very satisfied

Very interesting day for me today. I never expected it to be a historical moment in the life of the Parm Rater app, but I believe this is the first ever review left for the Central Hotel. I wish I could say I’d uncovered a hidden gem—but sadly, that’s not how this story ends. The charm of the establishment could’ve lifted the rating: the ching of the pokies, the dirt bikes playing above the Tote machine… it all added character. Unfortunately, the parmi didn’t quite live up to it. It was exactly what you’d expect from a budget pub (think Carlyle). The kind of place with carpet floors, the sort where your newly divorced dad takes you and awkwardly asks what you think of your mother’s new fella. But enough about me. The chicken was okay—not processed, which is a win—but dry. The parmi overall was a bit bland. Cheese and tomato were fine, but they definitely skimped on the chips and salad, which left me a little annoyed. Overall, I won’t be back… but it was nice to tick off. P.S the Bundy cab was elite and had fired me up to smack my numbers

Nice parmi. Thick piece of chicken, I did feel the sauce was a little sweet. I think missing the ham, didn’t have the saltiness to balance out the sweetness.

Hanging Garden parmi. Was very flavorful the parmi juicy chicken. However size of the parmi was small, chips were brilliant, great seasoning. Just dressed greens is a bit weak for a salad imo

It’s always a solid parmi at the moonah hotel. Probably not the best I’ve had here before. Still lovely, chips and salad are top tier

*CELEBRIRY REVIEW* - LUKE HOLLAND The meat was good at first, the centre was a bit dry a little lacking in flavour. Chips and salad were pretty solid,

Very impressed. Parrmi came as 2 chicken breasts. Extremely generous, was a mission to get through. Chicken was juicy, sauce subtly sweet and stretchy mozzarella on top. No ham, with Malaysia being a majority Islamic country. I feel some Scottsdale ham, would have taken it to the next level! Chips were cooked well, unseasoned. But salt and pepper grinders were provided (much better than shakers). Coleslaw instead of salad, which I don’t love. For a coleslaw it was a bit above average. All in all, great experience

Pretty good for a south east Asia parmi. Quite like the flaky crumb as opposed to the standard panko. Aside from that it does look a bit sad. Probably have to say it does not come together in perfect harmony the chicken, cheese and ham. Chips were real potato, probably a bit thick and no salt. Salad was fantastic for this part of the world
