The Crest Hotel at Sylvania has a great menu. The menu features a large range of different schnitzel topping. From classic, to meat lovers, bosciola and Mexican. I opted for the Classic Parmi however was disappointed to find that it didn’t actually Come with HAM. I had to ask for ham to be added. Which was an extra $2. The ham they used wasn’t the best. Still tastey enough, but I definitely prefers a sliced/shaved ham. There definitely could have been more tomato paste. And overall I think the size of the schnitzel could have been bigger. The chips were delish! And I liked the salad! Classic pub salad, nothing fancy, lots of greens. But could have had more dressing. The Diane sauce was good as well!! Wouldn’t race back but would eat again!

Parmi was good, good cheese melt, good tomato sauce. Crispy chicken - if anything slightly overcooked. however we like our Parmi’s BIG! So there was definitely room for growth. Chips were DELISH, we wish there was more. Mushroom gravy was YUM! Salad was disappointing. It was slaw….. the slaw wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great. Wish there was some mixed leaves, onion and carrot. Overall, would definitely eat again but I’m not blown away.

This was a good, solid, RSL Parmi. Thought it would have been a bit cheaper. However, was still a good feed. The schnitzel was great, the ham & tomato sauce was good. But the cheese could have been crispier. The salad was basic, with slices of capsicum (which isn’t my ideal ingredient for a side salad) and the gravy was really not the best. But overall, it’s what you’d expect from a small town rsl. The service was great! And the food came out quickly. Would definitely have again!

Not great bang for ya buck. The highlight was definitely the chips and the view! Classic Parmi, nothing to write home about. Would fair a bit better as a 2-4-1 deal.

This Parmi was DELISH. What I really enjoyed about it, was the tomato pasta sauce. It wasn’t just your regular tomato paste. It was FULL of FLAVOUR and Deliciousness!! The chips were great. The mushroom gravy was great. Unfortunately the salad was a bit of a let down. I wish there was a bit more too it. But overall, would definitely eat again!

I really enjoyed this Parmi. I was a bit weary when I saw the bacon instead of ham but it was well cooked and worked really well. Good amount of cheese. For the tomato sauce there were chunks of onion and capsicum which isn’t my vibe but it was fine and I still ate it. Mushroom gravy was alright. Chips were good. Salad was GOOOD!! Would eat again! 👍🏻
