This is quite possibly the best parmi (yes Victorians, parmi) I’ve ever had if we’re talking about just the parmi. It was massive, schnitzel was crispy where it wasn’t covered in sauce. The sauce was great, ham on top and lots of cheese. The chips were cooked well but would like a bit more seasoning. The salad ingredients were also good, it did have a honey mustard dressing but it needed more for my preference. The value was incredible, $30 normal price (which is fairly average these days) however I paid $25 for this and a pot of beer, which is what I’m evaluating it on. All things considered, this is potentially the best parmi I’ve ever had.

It takes approximately an hour to fly to Melbourne from Hobart and the distance is about 617 kilometres. 10 minutes east of the Melbourne CBD lies the Carlton Brewhouse and in my humble opinion, one of, if not the best parmi/parma/naarmigiana I have ever had the pleasure of consuming. Everything about this plate of goodness ticks the boxes, juicy chicken, chips well cooked and NOT underneath the poultry, Ham on the breast and a sauce to die for. Accompanied by mozzarella that wasn’t burnt. For $25 including a pot of mothers milk (Carlton Draught Tank Beer) This could be the holy grail. I don’t know how this hasn’t been rated until today.
