Enormous parmi, lots of sauce and good cheese. Only possible criticism (more just my preference) is that I’d like a crispier parmi but at least it was well cooked. Chips were perfectly cooked but lacked a good seasoning without me putting salt on myself. Salad was flawless and was sauced to the max. $28 for that much food was quite good value also.
This is quite possibly the best parmi (yes Victorians, parmi) I’ve ever had if we’re talking about just the parmi. It was massive, schnitzel was crispy where it wasn’t covered in sauce. The sauce was great, ham on top and lots of cheese. The chips were cooked well but would like a bit more seasoning. The salad ingredients were also good, it did have a honey mustard dressing but it needed more for my preference. The value was incredible, $30 normal price (which is fairly average these days) however I paid $25 for this and a pot of beer, which is what I’m evaluating it on. All things considered, this is potentially the best parmi I’ve ever had.
Chips were well cooked and seasoned however were a bit of your basic pub style chip, have had better. Salad was great, lots of shaved parmesan throughout but personally I would’ve liked a bit more dressing. The parmi itself was very good, was a little bit thicker than usual (which I prefer) but still wasn’t dry for the most part. Sauce and cheese were plentiful and tasty, ham on top was a nice touch. It wasn’t the biggest parmi I’ve had but it was a good sized plate overall.
Perfect sized parmi, not small but any bigger would’ve been almost an uncomfortably big parmi. Chips were perfect, crunchy and well salted yet not overcooked. Salad was also very good, good amount of dressing but I personally prefer a bit more. The parmi itself tasted good, had a good sauce and amount of cheese and well melted. However, the parmi under the sauce was a bit soggy and it was only just done - I prefer a slightly more crispy parmi that’s cooked a little more than this was, but it was still fine. Then there’s the price, $34 for the standard parmi and an extra $4 for the chips and salad. Most places have gotten expensive but $38 for a parmi is getting ridiculous. Not bad, but won’t buy it again especially for that price.
Overpriced, overcooked, small parmi. Sauce and cheese not bad though.
