$29 for a lukewarm parmi with no salad warrants a royal commission into the New SYD - otherwise a fantastic pub.

Smoky flavouring is good. Good parmi all round.

Lettuce leaf salad is okay for those who want vague greenery. Not for the saladistas. Chips nice and crispy. Very filling. Very tasty. Overall pretty good.

Very nice succulent 1cm thick chicken under the layer of ham and cheese . Chips crispy and well salted. The simple leaf salad was the ideal support act for the main game. A very filling parmi and highly recommended.

They weren’t lying when they said ‘Smokey ham’; tasted like it was straight off the barbecue. $2 extra for a salad, well there goes the validation I get from getting a salad with a parmi. Chippies were perfectly salted with the right amount of crisp.

The smoked ham was a bit off putting, gave the meal a BBQ taste. Definitely took away from what could’ve been a great parmi. Chips were the highlight of the meal by far; crispy, perfect amount of salt. Charging $2 for salad definitely went into the value rating, stingy as. Smh. Overall, a nice meal.

did NOT come w salad ($2 extra !?) but did come w a delish smoky flavour ham

The signature flavour for this parmi was the smoked ham. However, this was also its downfall. After several bites the smokey flavour became overpowering. After eating the ham all in one go the rest of the parmi was delicious. The chips were amazing, almost 5 stars from me. $2 EXTRA for the salad? Outrageous, not that it was missed.
