Trivia night! Starting with the salad, it tasted good but it was a bit dry and didn’t have the broadest range of vegetables. Very lettuce and cabbage heavy. The chips were crispy and a little bit salty but didn’t have any seasoning other than that and were ultimately a bit bland. Bland unfortunately is a word I’d use to describe the parmi itself as well. A very very thin spread of sauce that didn’t have a lot of flavour anyway. Ham had a strong taste which was enjoyable and the cheese was thick and did a lot of heavy lifting. The chicken had that strange taste but didn’t ruin the experience for me. Obviously I still enjoyed it - it was a parmi after all. Definitely good value at $27 and a decent size too, but that being said I would try something else on the menu next time.
Awesome chips and salad. No sauce options which lowered my chip rating a little but otherwise they were very tasty and salty. Salad had a great mix of veggies and an amazing dressing, closest salad to perfection if not for a very minor knock on the chopping of the red onion. Onto the parmi itself, average-good size, pretty cheap being <$30 as well. Very cheesy, nice mozzarella taste. Ham was yummy, sauce was really good - not overpowering in flavour but very saucy by volume. Chicken was nice and crispy on the edges, not dry and didn’t have that weird taste that a schnitzel can sometimes have which is massive for me. Would definitely order this parmi again the next time I visit, unless I try the Mexican variant.
Above average - good parmi, a bit small but also a bit thick. Chips were crispy and salty, salad was okay but the dressing wasn’t mixed very well and a bit tangy + the full sized cucumber slices weren’t really my style. Good tasting parmi with nice sauce, ham and cheese. Would order again for sure but wouldn’t rave about it to my friends.
