The parmi was superb, not super big but plenty of chips and salad to make up for it. Chips were generously dusted with chicken salt and the salad was phenomenal. Paired with a Carlton dry

A very nice parmi. I was excited to try this one as it’s had great reviews on Parm Rater. Did it live up to expectations? No. Was it still a good parmi? Absolutely. The rating could have been higher if not for the parmi being a bit soggy. The pesto was a nice addition though, and the chips and salad were fantastic. Paired with a pint of stone and wood, I would go back.

An OK parmi, didn’t change my life but did its job. The gravy was as runny as my recent bowel movements in Sri Lanka. Coleslaw is the worst kind of salad IMO. The chicken was good, and the cheese lacked conviction. For its price, there’s certainly better in the Hobart area.

I’m genuinely not sure how you can improve on a moonah hotel parmi, it’s basically perfect. A pleasure as always.

The Metz provided an OK parmi, priced at $31 usually but $20 on a Thursday was a nice surprise. The chips were nice, seasoned well and crunchy. The salad was better than it looks, with a lovely, citrusy dressing, could have just used a little bit more of it. The parmi itself was good, did its job but I would not write home about it. The service left a bit to be desired but overall, a nice summers evening spent at the Metz. Paired with a pint of great northern.

A funny parmi this one. The actual parmi itself was fantastic, fresh, big and just what the doctor ordered on a Friday night. However, the rest of the dish was pretty average. The chips had NO salt, the salad had NO dressing and the food came out with NO utensils. An unfortunate mishap from the Richmond hotel, and given the price ($32 is extortionate for a parmi but hey that’s Melbourne for you) I probably won’t be returning anytime soon.

An excellent parmi, so big I couldn’t finish it! Point deduction for coleslaw as the salad but considering the TWO pieces of chicken, I can look past it. No ham as Malaysia is a majority Muslim country, so understandable. If you find yourself in KL, head straight here.

For its location and price, a fantastic parmi. Chicken was fresh and succulent, cheese wasn’t distributed super well, but wasn’t something I thought about while eating. Only 3 chips and NO salt was a letdown, but considering the location it’s something I can live with. Salad was good, with a nice dressing. Overall, an excellent parmi experience and I would recommend.
